Our story
Who Global MedTeam actually is · and why it works the way it does
Before you trust anyonewith a move this big,you should know who they are.
A hospital is handing over its staffing, its patients, and its name. A nurse is handing over their future and their family’s. Neither should do that for a logo and a tagline. So here is who Global MedTeam is, told the only honest way a company can be told: through the choices it made on purpose.
The choices that were made on purpose
The industry treats the nurse as the product. We built the inversion.
01
Nurses pay nothing
No recruitment fee, no processing fee. The hospital pays, because it has the staffing need. This was not a discount. It was a deliberate stance against the fees and debt that trap nurses elsewhere.
02
We went where others would not
Global MedTeam built its proof in rural and critical access hospitals, the communities most recruiters overlook because they are small and hard. That is where the shortage bites deepest, so that is where we chose to make a difference.
03
Direct hire from day one
A nurse joins the hospital as a hospital employee, not as contract staff on a multi-year contract. The relationship is built to last, not to be billed.
04
The nurses who came back
Some nurses who explored other recruiters have returned to Global MedTeam. We do not treat that as a talking point. We treat it as a responsibility: proof that how people are treated brings them back.
What we hold ourselves to
Four words we’re prepared to be held to.
(01)
Trust
Nurses know what they will pay: nothing.
(02)
Safety
No one is pushed into a process they do not understand.
(03)
Integrity
Hospitals and nurses hear the truth, even when the answer is not convenient.
(04)
Respect
Every placement is treated as a family decision, not a transaction.
Not just our word for it
A national health authority chose to stand behind us.
The Philippine Department of Health adopted Global MedTeam’s white paper as its source of truth for ethical international nurse recruitment, a government standing behind how we say this work should be done. Read the white paper →

Now that you know who we are.
