EB-3 Visa Process

The EB-3 Visa is an immigrant visa which grants permanent residence in the United States, but the process can be complex and time consuming. After meeting the requirements for the Visa, the steps are as follows:

  1. The licensed nurse obtains a Visascreen letter and a job offer from a US employer.
  2. The employer obtains a Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) from the US Department of Labor.
  3. The employer files an I-140 form with USCIS
  4. USCIS approves the I-140 and sends it to the National Visa Center (NVC)
  5. The nurse is sent notice for a consulate interview
  6. After final approval, the nurse is issued a visa

It is important to note that the exact timeline and requirements for obtaining permanent residency can vary depending on individual circumstances and factors such as country of origin, visa category, and immigration policies.

It is recommended that individuals carefully follow all immigration procedures and requirements and work closely with their employer and immigration attorney to ensure a successful and timely application process.
