Job Description

Patient Assessment and Triage
  • Systematically collects and prioritizes comprehensive health data from the patient, family, healthcare providers, and environment using evidence-based assessment tools.
  • Integrates and analyzes the data to identify patient needs, patterns, and variances.
  • Determines nursing diagnoses and establishes individualized expected outcomes for the patient’s care.
Medical Interventions
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the office/clinic setting
  • Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Communicate with providers and staff about patient’s clinical conditions
  • Meet the communication needs of patients and family members
  • Communicate with providers and staff about the patient’s clinical conditions..
Documentation and Record-Keeping
  • Maintain regulatory requirements.

Certifications and Experience
  • Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing. ASN required, BSN preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years current, within the past 2 years Labor and delivery experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
  • Current North Dakota RN licensure required.
  • Current BCLS certification
