Job Description
Patient Assessment and Triage
- Systematically collects and prioritizes comprehensive health data from the patient, family, healthcare providers, and environment using evidence-based assessment tools.
- Integrates and analyzes the data to identify patient needs, patterns, and variances.
- Determines nursing diagnoses and establishes individualized expected outcomes for the patient’s care.
Medical Interventions
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the office/clinic setting
- Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care.
Collaboration and Communication
- Communicate with providers and staff about patient’s clinical conditions
- Meet the communication needs of patients and family members
- Communicate with providers and staff about the patient’s clinical conditions..
Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Maintain regulatory requirements.

Certifications and Experience
- Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing. ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years current, within the past 2 years Labor and delivery experience preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Current North Dakota RN licensure required.
- Current BCLS certification
