UNDERSTANDING
IMMIGRATION

Immigration can be daunting, but we’re
here to simplify the process

IMMIGRATION AT A GLANCE

There are different types of visas available, with different requirements and tradeoffs. We’ll figure out what is best for you.

Picking the right partner is critical to avoid delays, denials, and other complications

In order to file for a green card, you first need a Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD). This is free to file, and we’ll take care of it for you if you don’t already have one. However, not having it can lead to delays.

Obtaining a Prevailing Wage Determination(PWD)

What you need to know:

  • The Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) is a requirement to file for an EB-3 visa
  • It’s free to file, but it can take 6 months to receive back
  • You may already have one, but may not know it. We can help you locate it!

Nurse Qualifications

Every nurse we place meets or exceeds the same standards as an RN
trained in the U.S. This means they must:

  • Pass the NCLEX-RN exam
  • Have their education credentials evaluated and deemed equivalent to a US education
  • Pass an English Proficiency exam, such as the IELTS

These nurses are just as qualified, if not more qualified than nurses recruited from within the United States.

Understanding Visa Options

The three most common visa options are:

EB-3 (Green Card)

Ideal for long-term workforce planning; includes full permanent residency. Subject to retrogression; timelines vary, historically 1-2 years.

H-1B (Temporary Work Visa):

Best for cap-exempt organizations; 3-year term, renewable.

TN (Canada/Mexico only)

Fastest processing for qualified RNs, only from Mexico & Canada
