Job Description:
1) Patient Assessment and Triage:
> Perform initial assessments of patients, including vital signs, medical history, and chief complaint
> Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition using the triage system and hospital protocols
>Counseling skills, including active listening, sensitivity, and understanding
2) Medical Interventions
>Administer indicated medications, treatments, and interventions
> Knowledge of psychology (if applying for a behavioral health position)
3) Collaboration and Communication
> Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
> Communicate patient conditions, updates, and changes to the healthcare team. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and post-discharge instructions
4) Documentation and Record-Keeping
> Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
> Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
> Adhere to hospital protocols / Metrics
Qualifications: RN
Certifications and Experience
> Currently licensed in the State of New Jersey
> Minimum 1 year of Clinical experience – We are hiring for all specialties (Behavioral Health, Med-surg, ER, OR, ICU, Ortho., L&D, OB/GYN, Day-shifts/ Night-shifts, and more)
> Behavioral Health Experience is a Plus
> Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing Certification (PMH-BC) is a Plus
> Must have basic computer skills
